I have to be very disciplined about my time there since I also use it for business.

I really appreciate your comment about preferring thought-provoking writing versus sound bites.

We have SO many sound bite opportunities, and what I have found is they tell only a tiny bit(e) of the story.

Maybe the "sound bites" are better for hooking people in to read the full deal. If the sound bite doesn't interest them, they don't have to go further. As long as we write the sound bites so they accurately reflect the content of the full article--HATE it when I think I'm going to look at one thing and it turns out to be something I am so not interested in!

Have a great weekend!

Now, let's get up off our backsides!Laurie Tossyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16435739968905733384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600344518364997198.post-71002628905187143612012-04-13T14:38:03.185-06:002012-04-13T14:38:03.185-06:00Facebook....hmmmm....another reason to sit on my b...Facebook....hmmmm....another reason to sit on my backside and play with the computer...!
Decided not get involved with it as it can get addictive.
Call me old fashioned, but I like a well written blog that give me pause for thought instead of sound bites.Lesley FWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12247438565652841445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600344518364997198.post-64451210360792638082012-04-09T14:24:27.636-06:002012-04-09T14:24:27.636-06:00Thanks for you input Chris. Just like allocating time for making healthy food choices and moving our bodies, sometimes we have to make choices about how we spend our time at the computer.Laurie Tossyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16435739968905733384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600344518364997198.post-11004864829833608942012-04-06T11:35:45.359-06:002012-04-06T11:35:45.359-06:00I don’t have a facebook account, having a facebook...I don’t have a facebook account, having a facebook would take up too much of my time.
